This Budget Planner can be used for any currency. The choice at the top is to remind you which currency you are working in, throughout the exercise. The app can be used solely for an individual, or sole earner in a household, or by two or more earners in the same household. No limit. For this hypothetical exercise, we have two, commencing with the left hand column, "INCOME" (nett), listing several sources, including one where tax had to be "estimated". As we progress, the Annual Summary on the right keeps a running record.

Staying with income only, we come down to two graphs, the first of which shows monthly income across the year, the two bumps being receipt of dividends. No movement on the 2nd graph because we have yet to input expenditure.

The 3rd graph shows cumulative combined income, again with no outgoings.

Now we switch to outgoings, with several examples and running totals in the summary on the right, of both income and outgoings.

More outgoings here. The app offers plenty of prompts for you to include the many household expenses that are incurred by people world wide. Each quite small maybe, but they all add up!

The monthly graph now shows two expenditure "bumps", serving as a cash flow alert. In other words, if the bank account looks pretty healthy in June, beware rates due!

And finally, a comparison of expected cumulative income and forecast cumulative spending, suggests that we will make ends meet, but there are a lot of expenses that we haven't inputted yet!

And as well as entering budgetted expenditure, the app can be updated regularly for both actual income and actual outgoings, thereby increasing accuracy and creating a fileable record.
